Made to last

Caring for your Bangili

Every Bangili is hand-woven by Maasai women in Kenya from premium glass beads on a durable band. A little care keeps the colours bright, the weave strong, and your piece ready for everyday wear for years to come.

Everyday wear

Your Bangili is made to be lived in. Wear it every day, wherever the day takes you. It’s waterproof, durable and designed to move with you - just take care to avoid unnecessary pulling or snagging of the beadwork.

Keep it looking its best

Perfume, lotion and sunscreen are fine, but avoid prolonged contact with harsh chemicals. If your Bangili needs cleaning, rinse it with fresh water or gently wipe it with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid pulling or snagging the beadwork.

Heat & humidity

Your Bangili is made to travel with you, but prolonged exposure to extreme heat and humidity can put additional stress over time. Avoid leaving it in very hot environments, and allow it to dry naturally after getting wet.

The perfect fit

Finding your size

Your correct size may feel snug as it passes over the widest part of your hand - this is completely normal. Once it's on, your Bangili should sit comfortably around your wrist without feeling loose.
